Why would anyone do this

I was playing this guy/girl and their PSN was wshady2410. He had a no no on me until the 7th but I get some hits but throughout the game I noticed he only does two things and they were throwing a low and outside slider to lefties and a running fastball low and away to righties, but I took the lead and in the bottom of the 9th he gets 2 hits in a row and a liner to my 2B and here comes K-Rod, I stopped and waited for a minute to see if he was gonna PH and he DIDN'T and he hit into a DP to end it. Why would he do that?

His pitching was logical and if that's all he was pitching, you should've easily scored sooner. Especially if you were playing on anything less than HoF difficulty.

As far as why he didn't pitch hit, maybe he wasn't aware that he could do so. Who knows really

but clearly that shows his lack of baseball knowledge since he can't do anything other than try and make you chase, since he decided not to PH his pitcher.

He PH'd Johan when I got 3 runs. I didn't notice that he was doing the same thing until the inning I took the lead.
