Luckily it's all optional. Play the stuff if you want. If not, stick to the traditional games. Why knock 'em for doing things out of the box?
Someone would have to be ignorant to say that this is really "out of the box." If the Wii wasn't so insanely popular, do you really think that Natal would have been created?
Honestly, Natal is something that I might mess with for a little bit but would lose interest within a few months.
Yea, I must say, all most of the rumors out beforehand came true. MGS4 most importantly, also I think that Splinter Cell looked absolutely amazing too! That was my favorite one they showed.

That's what I'm thinking.
And WOW, now I can have a virtual boy to play with! Virtual pedophilia here I come!
After a slow start, I would have to say that MS did come around towards the end. I'll be very surprised if MGS: Rising isn't multiplatform. I can't be angry at Kojima or Konami because there is waaaay too much money to be had on the 360 to just let it sit there and go unused.
Natal was somewhat interesting, but as a hardcore gamer, I really can't see myself ever using it extensively. It was clearly marketed to the casual audience.
Now onto Nintendo and Sony. I doubt Sony will have any mega hitters (one of their big ones, the PSP Go, has already been spoiled) but it should be good nonetheless.

Of course MGS Rising is multiplatform. That's what the whole announcement was about. You didn't think Kofima's announcement meant exclusivity? My only question is whether or not MGS4 is coming to the 360 or if it's just the future installemnst of the MGS series, including Rising.
I agree though, they didn't have a choice. They didn't make nearly the money they should have with MGS4. I blame all the PS3 oweners that didn't buy the game. Owning a PS3 and not owning MGS4 should by illegal.

the Whole series is coming to xbox 360.....thats what Adam Sessler's said..........if you believe him...
Natal didn't attract me at all. For what it's worth, however, The Trailers were full of win. Metal Gear Solid:Rising wasn't that big to me. Putting Metal Gear Solid 4 on the 360 would've been bigger than a new game. I give it a 7/10...

I know a ton of people are confused, as in the conference they said that "everything shown after this point will come exclusively to the 360." MGS:R was definitely shown after that point.
As for MGS4, I don't think the announcement indicated anything about prior games being ported to the 360. If that was to be implied, they definitely failed driving that point home.

Why would you be angry?
People are angry, that's the thing. It's not like Kojima has ever said that the MGS series is exclusive to the PS3. Thus, there is no reason to get angry about the whole ordeal.
