Videos don't do any game justice. If you listen to any gaming podcasts you will know that the people that actually got to PLAY the game at the show were very impressed.
If anything, I want to buy a DS just to play Scribblenauts.
Is that the game where the showed a dude on the ground and a balloon floating in the air and asked you to write something on the screen to help the guy reach the balloon? If so that game looks cool as hell.
but if MS can get Natal right, it'll be awesome to play with and will win the argument on it's own.
That's a BIG but. I'll believe it when I see it...on the Xbox 720. And it will probably cost $130 and I'll need to see up cameras all over my basement. Oh yeah, and clear out a HUGE space in front of tv so that I can dance around.

well us normal folk don't need a HUGE space in front of the TV to dance around.
didn't mean to derail this thread, sorry about that. I heard Microsoft had the best showing by far at E3.. true or false?
Not by far, but I would say they had the most well rounded presentation. I thought the opening sucked, but after that they were pretty consistent. Nothing wowed me really except for Splinter Cell.
Natal is a gimmick that I can't see any hardcore gamer really using. Plus, many of the people who messed with Milo at E3 said there was a ton of smoke and mirrors being used in that "demo" they showed in the conference.
Sony's conference started out awesome, with a killer Uncharted 2 demo. But after that, it dragged... a lot. Their motion controller simply tries to appeal to the casual gamer, much like Natal. Nothing really amazing to see there. Once they started showing more of their PS3 lineup, though, the show picked back up.

Should've phrased that better.
I meant if you had to choose between a 360 and a PS3.
P.S: I own/rented some of those games and I can, without question, say that the word "great" should never be mentioned in the same sentence.
I picked the PS3 and have yet to be disappointed with it. Game selection is great. I can play nearly every game that I want to without any fears of my PS3 dieing. Why should I pick an Xbox?
So after finally reviewing all of the E3 news and announcements, I came to the conclusion -
Why the F would anyone, at this point, consider buying a PS3?
Gran Turismo 5 completely nullifies your post. PD has never disappointed, and I don't doubt them this time around either.
