I wanted to make this thread awhile back but I kept forgetting.
I was thinking that the Online LGs for madden should have custom rules that we could match up exactly with the rules for Madden SIM LGs.
For instance:
make it where players don't have the ability to go for 2 in the 1st quarter.
Players can't go for it on 4th down before they past the 50
Players have to kick FG's in certain situations.
Players can only kick onside kicks late in the 4th when down.
So it's pretty much "Fair Play" with your own rules. This would eliminate alot of questionable decisions in SIM LGs, it'd also stop alot of rules from being broken. Not that the players are breaking them on purpose but it's hard to remember all of the rules and have to look over them in the middle of the game. It sucks to have to pause the game and then look through the list of rules in a crucial situation.
Of course there are certain rules that would be alot harder to enforce. Like stopping someone from running/passing too much or running the same plays over and over again and passing to the same routes/players.
Just wondering what you guys think about this. Any downfalls or major Cons that I'm missing?
