what game should i get

i almost bought hawx yesterday but something told me to hold off on it and judging from the user reviews, im glad i did.

other games i been thinking about getting are

fifa 09
ufc 09
street fighter 4

dont remember what else i was looking at. any recommendations? ps3 or 360

If I remember...your a soccer fan. I would keep your eyes out for Fifa on sale...I picked up the 360 version for my brother for only $15 on clearance at Target.

i ended up getting ufc and first impressions is "meh"

im not really liking it so far. i have only done career with my created guy though so maybe thats the problem. i keep getting flash knocked out. hopefully it will be better the more i play it. i wish they had it used. i would have probably taken it back. now im stuck with it no matter what.

demos and reviews are your friend. UFC seems like a niche game and is loved by fans of MMA. I would have loved to buy it, but i played the demo and was like meh......

after watching the prototype videos since my last post, i am convinced that game might just be the 2nd coming as advertised.

i read some reviews and looked at how people were busting a nut here and figured it was a worthwhile purchase even if it was just some fun ass beating game. i should have downloaded the demo.

i have only played it for about an hour. like 2 hours going through the tutorials and fighter creation, then about an hour of career mode. i had to keep going back to the manual for moves. its very complicated but at the same time, felt like a button masher. i hate button mashers.

hopefully when i get a better handle on the controls, i will like it better.

yeah it doesnt seem like a bad game at all. But seemed like people who loved mma were treating like the next halo game where as the review were a little more honest about its flaws.

im actually still thinking of getting it myself because i dont like how FN4 has dumped the face button controls. And i was really looking forward to a fighting game. But again, that demo didnt thrill me and the pace felt very slow.
