BTW.......just finished the NASCAR Special Challenge. Got my first gold on the last challenge on advanced level. I turned the ABS off from the default settin of 1, apparently these boats run way faster when you have ABS off, and also when the fuck are we brakin in this bullshit except for at the Indy 500? You don't need ABS at Daytona, the bank does the job for you.

Anyway, I may try the other ones again, to get silver and gold. I only got a 70 Chally 440 R/T, I was hoping to win the 69 Camaro Z/28.

Also has anyone race modded the Z/28? I am thinking of doing it.

Just delivered............be agressive.....you can hit the tunnel at good speed with it and don't hit the brakes till you get to the first left of the 180. Turn three was a big prob for me to get right. the "s" curves thru the lights are very easy to hit if you get the rhythm. Cut the corners when possible. GL

I have the 09 GTR, but man I can't get any closer than 5th place in that race. Gettin realy frustrated.

Got 2nd place easily and will nail 1st most likely on my next attempt.

Holy shit.....PTR........I don't know what you did to that car, but I just got 2nd place, even after I totaly fucked up an entire lap on the turns, but running into ever fuckin curb.

Insane, I finished 10 secs behind the GT, but I think it would have been much closer if I had raced that one lap clean.

For the record I used Automatic.

Make a [close] clean run and you should have it.

Can anyone who has done a race modification tell me if it gives you any options while you are doing it? I mean like paint options or number options? The only plan it shows me is to have my car painted white.......so I was wondering once I click install mods, will it ask me what color and blah blah blah....

You can change the number in your garage after you do the RM, and every RM'ed car has a different paint job. My RM'ed ZR1 uses the color that it was painted before the RM on the front half of the car like this:

Sweet......just tried it out.....works well. Also found out if you quit the game w/o backin out to the GT mode menu, then any RM mods or paint mods you do don't get saved. Good way to see what your paint job will look like

What car is everyone using for the seasonal race at Special Stage worth 1,000,000 (you have to use a GTR)? The damn leader has a 40+ second lead at the start. I do not see myself winning this race.

GTR Spec V 09 with every mod added within the hp/weight limit. It is tough, it took me quite a few tries, could only get within 3 seconds but finally I pretty much nailed it every lap and won by 7 seconds.

You can't run into any cars because they slow you down too much, and it helps if you get to draft a few cars down the straightaway.

I'm running my Skyline and doing... meh... I'm fucking up myself really bumping a lot into walls and whatnot, finished 4th a bunch of times in a row...
