Oh yeah.....it really feels like GT so if you like the other games in the series then you will be happy.

First car i bought was a go-cart. Cheapeast car......BTW they are fun as he'll to drive. I won't start racing for a while.....i am sucked into the license tests.

I am annoyed b/c I drive a 2009 Audi A4 IRL and in this game they do'nt even have the 2009/10 S4 let alone a 09/10 A4. BUT they have literally 18 different kinds of Honda S2000's. Like WTF???

I lost count of how many Lancer Evos they have....has to be over 20.

Il be back on later to play some more....hope to see some of you online playing as well.

I think my game is glitching out or something. I went into the options screen just to see what was there and exited the screen. When the main menu came back I had no cursor and couldn't select anything on the menu. I let it sit for a bit before I restarted the game and then it was doing it again......WTF

This music is getting really old too. I normally don't care about having my own music in games but I tried with this one and it wouldn't let me. Is there any way to add our own tracks to the sound track? I thought that was pretty standard in games now.

My Home -> Music Library -> Race BGM Tab -> BGM Settings (race) -> Open PS3 system Music Folder

Once you've selected the music you want, make sure you check off Use "Personal BGM (Race)"

With GT5 finally releasing today, Yamauchi-san also responded to criticism of the online feature set, revealing to Eurogamer, "Online updates are planned of course for leaderboards and matchmaking - [they're] all planned in the process of evolution."

During a stage presentation earlier in the evening, Yamauchi pledged that his team would be "upgrading every week, every month" to improve the game, which took five years to develop.

Yamauchi described the game as a "pet" that his team had "nourished and looked after," paying special tribute to fans, "all of whom have helped and supported us to develop Gran Turismo."

Beneath a video screen slogan which read: "Today is not the finale. Today is only the beginning of a new era for Gran Turismo," the series creator insisted that his team's work on the project was far from complete.

SCEE has confirmed to NowGamer that more damage features are set for Gran Turismo 5 'at a later date'

There has been some confusion over the damage modelling in the game with physical deformation definitely included, but question marks over the touted mechanical damage.

GT5 producer Kazunori Yamauchi responded to a tweet on Tuesday from a reviewer at Level 17 in the game asking whether mechanical damage was in fact included. "It will appear later," Yamauchi wrote, but still it wasn't clear if the developer meant later in the game or at a later date via an update.

We can now confirm that Sony intends to add new features to Gran Turismo 5 "at a later date". An SCEE representative told NowGamer this evening:

"We hope to introduce even more damage features at a later date and will provide an update on this as soon as we can."

Incorrect, there is a lot you cant do with the non premium cars. I watched a YouTube video frm a guy that went through it all. No body modification, limited tuning, and they just don't look as good. Some looks exactly like they were ported from GT4.
