I saw a GT450 in the used car lot for 74k, didn't splurge on it. Hopefully the GT500 is in the game.
Looks like I will also have to buy a Ferrari, apparently you need one for the Ferrari Challenge, but too bad you have to spend 200K to get one, fuckin BS.

And you think 200,000 for a car is steep? You're better off playing as many of the special events as you can and saving up for the Enzo. It's worth it.Comment

All of my prize cars have been crap, other than the Premium Challenger. Still haven't used that one though. Hoping to get a chrome paint chip once I get to 90 cars.
For golding the advanced Jeff Gordon Challenges I got a 70 Superbird (kinda cool I guess) and a Plymouth Prowler. I did get a NASCAR obviously which is cool though.
I bought a 599 for the Ferrari challenge and then spent a boatload on maxxing it out for the hell of it, I think I ended up spending almost 900k
I love it though
I probably be up for some more online racing around 6ish est tomorrow if anyone else is down...I have my full arsenal in my online garage now, screw all those default cars.Comment

Is that the GT All Stars race? Did you just buy a Corvette and do the racing modifications? IDK what to buy for that race.Comment

I could only win the first race with the vette in the GT All-Stars. I did use the vette to win the Like the Wind races, then used the Toyota GT-One race car that you get for GT All-Stars. People from GTPlanet have won GT All-Stars with the vette but I don't have the tracks memorized, especially the Nordschleife and I got my ass handed to me.
For the vette, buy a Z06 or ZR1 from the dealership, race modify it, then do all of the other tuning after that. Its roughly 600k total but is a beast of a car. Use this tune, it does wonders:
Downforce: 35/53
Transm.: 360 km/h (380 at Nordschliefe)
Initial torque: 10
Acc sens: 20
Brake sens: 10
Ride h: 5/5 (35/35 at Nordschleife)
Spring: 16.6/14.4
Damp ext 9/7
Damp comp: 9/7
Anti RB: 3/5
Camber: 2/1.5
Toe: 0/-0.30
Brakes: 5/7
I play around with the rear breaks depending on track. Its good at 7 but if I want better turn in use 8, better stability a 6.
Another tip is that for the Nurburgring Nordschleife race in GT All-stars, I made the gearing a little longer so I could outrun the other cars down that long ass straightaway at the end of the track, it also helps for other long sections on that track.Comment
