I'm sure as you guys know, this game has been in development for years, but it finally looks like they might be going somewhere with it. I think it looks pretty cool, I'll probably rent it to see what it's about. They had a gameplay video at E3 but I can't find it... I'll edit the post when I do.

Apparently you can choose one of four characters and each story is completely different based on the decisions you make. You and your friend could pick the same character and play an entirely different game.

It's scheduled to be released late 2009/early 2010.

i was watching the trailer and they explained how you could die as one of the characters at ANY given point, and the story would simply continue along with the other remaining alive characters.

that's fucking incredible if you ask me.

I was gonna say.. I was thinking about how dumb it would be to release a game on New Year's Eve. I'll have to edit that.

I wonder how this game will play though. The story is probably outstanding, but the gameplay might get repetitive with the button-command cut-scenes. The game's length would also be a pretty big issue.. but since they've been working on it for about 4 years now, I would expect nothing less than 15 hours. I like the replay value though.. I could see myself going back quite a few times just to see different outcomes.

Looking forward to it, but still not sure its worth buying. Once you finish the story, I cant see how there will be any replay value since it apparently relies on plot twists.

from what i've read i disagree. I believe you play as 4 characters and throughout playing 1 or 2 or 3 characters could die, permanently....and you continue playing and the story adapts to this.

i'd imagine that would provide different story paths?

yea i agree with kg, if i play the story and 3 of the 4 characters die i wanna play the game again without any of them dying to see the outcome

I understand that, but from what I have heard on podcasts people die only when you fuck up quicktime events. I guess it would be different but the main plot twists are still there.

Like I said, Im looking forward to it, but I think Im gonna either rent it or pick it up used so i can return it in 7 days.
