Yeah I liked 09, and now with a "polished" 09 with teambuilder and my UVM dynasty already in the works, I'm really looking forward to 10

It was all strafe catch and USC in 09..Obnoxious.. Have they eliminated strafing on offense? I haven't been keeping up with my ncaa updates

They took it out in 09 when you went to a higher difficulty,

in the end it didn't matter, people figured out how to do it like they did in Madden.

they fixed the zig zag, "twitch" running glitch... i just hope they fixed the DBs playing 5 yards off the receiver on hitches, how wide open receivers were on every play and the d-line not getting any pressure..

Pretty much. '09 had a ton of potential, outside of the game-killing flaws. The biggest being the pass rush and the second biggest being hook/curl defense, because those were issues online and offline. The CPU play-calling was inept for the last two years which destroyed dynasty mode for me.

The speed curve got removed (or toned down or something) and the fixed pursuit angles which should both help. They added a pocket, which may or may not work for increasing pressure. I'm pretty excited about adaptive AI, and the upgraded CPU play-calling.

I, like the true sheep that I am, am slowly getting excited for NCAA. If the pass rush functions and the CPU has any sort of brain will be great. Obviously, that is yet to be seen and the reason this is going to be a rent-first game (and I hate renting games).

This. I could make do with the lack of a pass rush, and the pursuit angles were terrible but I managed, but I could not handle the dumbass AI playcalling. If that is not upgraded I will not play this game.

This game seems like NCAA 09.5 with a roster update, and with the looks of the teambuilder roster they couldn't even get that right.
