You can see a game like COD: WaW 8-9 maps at release, 2 additional map packs... the game ends up being almost $80 for the full experience.

Absolutely. Look at how much ive dropped for a game like Gears of War. No complaints, just not shocked at all.

And not necessarily. One of the devs said that there is nothing you are going to buy, that wont be figured out of your good enough. Its basically training wheels for nobs who dont know how to run a proper dynasty.

So there are accelerator options in the game for dynasty, and they do not provide anything you cannot earn/figure out in the game by playing.

We get that some of you guys are not going to use these, and really they are not for you. It's really easy to just not buy them if you do not want to use them.

I would 100% agree with everyones anger if that were the case....but its not so relax...

Yeah, it's not terrible it's just a trend games are taking. You can choose to get the full experience or get a cheat or something but it's not absolutely necessary.

They also did something similar to this with the Call of Duty World at War Special Edition, you got something like 500 XP out of the box and a special gun.

Also you'll remember Battlefield attempting to do something similar to this with their online weapons but then removing it towards the end.

Exactly. So it's nothing really worth freaking out until it effects online play, as I mentioned with the proposed pay for guns thing they were doing with Battlefield. Until it reachs that point, whatever let the 9 year olds beg mommy for 1600 points so they can be an A+ dynasty after 1 year.

What's even worse is EA sees these kids as their target audiences and add shit like Season Showdown to try and draw them in.

A lot of these features might be cool if they were A) free, B) implemented to mean something, and C) unlocked in dynasty mode as you become a better coach, recruiter, etc etc.

But for real money...lul. Keep it.
