why waste their time putting together a better product when they can just change the 4 on the price tag to a 6?

like this is new? they've been doing it with madden for most of the time. just slap on a new cover, change the 6 to 7...or a 7 to a 8....and voila.


regardless, whether you hate how this works or not, if you are a fan of the sports and you play video games, you probably will buy it anyways.

EA dangles the carrot in front of us and we're off to the races. Truthfully I am a lemming and will buy NCAA no matter the price because of the damn fact, I need my game fix. Gaming is my "hobby" and I'll continue to do so. I guess I keep being loyal in hoping that one day, we get what we ask for.

I'm not going to lie, I've actually begun resisting the urge to buy a lot of sports games and while it sucks, it was something I never thought I'd be able to do.

I haven't bought a Madden since 2007
I did not buy last years NCAA until I found it used about 2-3 weeks later
I don't plan on buying this years NCAA new, possibly do the same thing grab it used later on
I'm definitely done buying the MLB 2k franchise after this year

The only one I consistently buy day of, for full price, is NBA 2k. Otherwise, I couldn't care less whether or not I get NCAA or what not. I'd love to have the game this year for the online dynasties which I really enjoyed especially the mid-major one we did at Vetz, but if it's a shitstorm like it's appearing... forget it. I'll get over it.
