Well, Personally I'm impressed...
I find it absolutely incredible that for the first time in the last 4 years I found a football game that I love, that had understandable problems, but nothing unfixable, and that a development team could be so lazy as to not fix anything, and put the majority of their emphasis on the new game in Team builder and "season showdown".
Team builder being understandable, Season Showdown being one of the outright dumbest things I've ever heard of in my life.

This is just sad. I thought for the first time in years I'd buy a football game. Now, it looks as though I will not buy a game until NBA 2k10.
How the fuck can EA let this shit happen year after year...especially after posting some gigantic blog about how they specifically addressed and fixed the pass rush issue.Comment

They even showed a game of Florida (Powerhouse) vs Utah State (Cupcake) to see how things were, and Florida still couldn't get pressure on Utah freaking State.
Part of me is holding out hope that the reason is because the OS vids are on Heisman, the other part of me is contemplating moving my pre-order to Madden or NBA 2k10.Comment

in 95% of business type jobs, if you fucked up on your work this badly, you would either have hell to pay, or be looking for the nearest unemployment office. this type of this baffles me.
However, if BB is successful, my only worry is that EA will do everything in its power to buy BB and bury it. Then, we'll continue to see the same glacial paced development that we currently have.Comment

When I say rarely I mean like twice at the most and they had like 26 videos. But I have to agree I did not see much pass rush on the standard AA sliders. Especially on the WV vs. Louisville video, that was really bad, I counted and it was like 6 seconds every time. So I guess I have to play with the sliders again this year. Oh well.Comment

considering i was able to beat last years game on Heisman for the first time ever, I don't think the lack of pass rush issue was as big of deal to me as it seems to be for everyone else, I had a DE at Kent State who was able to pull down close to 20 sacks.Comment

I downloaded and recorded the OS Florida vid. I reviewed it a couple of times but I'm not seeing a big descrepancy between "pass rush" and "no pass rush." In fact, I did see some pretty good pressure on the "weak AI" which would be expected. I'm a gonna go back and look at what I recorded again just to make sure. But if someone could point where the "bad" happens in the vid, do so, so my weak old eyes don't miss it.
Sidesheet: I would post the vid, but it is a little skippy. I could prob do some enhanced rendering to the vid to make it better, but really, it's not worth it. Right now, after seeing the close-ups of the OS vid [Of course I consider the source, lol], I may not make that NCAA purchase! Just saying!Last edited by Poundtherock; 06-17-2009, 05:51 PM.

Not meaing to sound rude, can you please point out a video on OS so I can see it, because this is a big issue and I really would like to see it for myself just to see how bad it is. Thank you.Comment

I aways find it funny when people say there was no pass rush in ncaa 09 so i think it will be the same in 10. You guys just suck if can't get pressure from the dline. playing in 2 OD that both are going into yr 2016/2017 I have 20+ seasons with 5 different DE. alot of guys had 10+ seasons with DT's...Comment
