You can, but it won't matter what defense you play until they make things like height/weight matter. I know that with 09 speed was such a key part I scrapped my 3-4 and went with the 33 to get more speed on the field.

Very true, I try to install the 3-4 system every year (ala the steelers) but it doesn't work, plus as you said it was all about speed anyway

Wouldn't matter anyway,

3-4 defenses haven't played realistically in Madden... ever...

They are perfect to run all over, and it's more then easy to take advantage of linebacker on Slot receiver speed.

actually the reason why i am doing it, is because i have one good DT, and 2 Good MLBs

But I play offline dynasty as opposed to anything else... So I don't have to deal with the cheese that causes other players problems with running a 3-4. However, playing defense on this game mostly just sucks, so it hardly (not completely doesnt, but hardly) matters what D you run.
