NCAA 10 Demo Impressions

Tackles are sweet. Just had my SS on player lock as he watched the deep middle and they hit the TE in a post. My linebacker did that tackle from behind where they drag to bring him down and my safety comes up and hit sticks both of them. Kind of changed the animation.

Just played a few more games, still mixed opinon.

No sacks either game (one as FLA, one as OK), but I was running more.

Coverage is much improved and there are a lot of nice new animations. Still love player lock.

However,
the option is broken. You can still pitch when your wrapped up. Some of the tackle animations are very odd, and completely ignore momentum.

I did enjoy the game, and they definately made improvements. Still not seeing enough rush, it's still twitchy and physics still don't apply. I'll probably pass, because I have high hopes for Madden.

Just played another game on AA, it was a really good game and I had a blast.
I was Oklahoma, I started out on defence, I called a basic cover 2 on the first play and Florida's WR beat my safety deep for a TD. I shut down Florida for the rest of the half though, and kicked two field goals to make the score 7-6 at halftime.

I started with the ball in the second half and went on a long (3 minutes) drive for a touchdown, and then got the 2-point conversion to make it 14-7. Tebow came right back though, and scored a touchdown. I tried to score in the final 30 seconds and promptly threw a pick, seemingly giving Florida the win as they had the ball at my own 20. I called a timeout though and set my play style to aggresive and hit sticked the RB on the next play, he fumbled, I recovered and the game was going to overtime.

Florida had the ball first, but they went 3 and out thanks to a heavy load of blitzes, but they still kicked a fieldgoal. Then I took my turn, and on 3rd and goal I threw one up to my TE in the endzone and he brought it down for the win.

I don't know if I'll buy this game yet, it will probably be a wait and see thing,
