Those are called cameos btw. Not really a fan of the cameos. I like the intro and i think they should just continue with intros like 08 and the one i just watched.Last edited by Aso; 06-22-2009, 03:45 PM.Comment

Madden 08 was the best intro football wise, 2000 entertainment wise.

Having re-analized the '08 video, which always had something about it that I didn't like and I could never put my finger on it, I think I have decided I like this one better except for it's one fatal flaw.
It's too short. The end seems very abrupt. I still like it better than 08.
Don't get me wrong, '08 was inspirational and really drew you in, and the Dawkins dialogue was awesome, all the more so because it was taken from a game video, but the thing I hated about it- The Damned Madden 08 footage! It just seemed VERY out of place and always rubbed me wrong for some reason.
So, yeah, this one takes second place in my book (Luda still #1).S.P.Q.A.

Go back to the cameos. I loved the cameos. Each one was a different player and they were only 5-10 seconds. I actually liked watching those and sometimes, you'd see a rare one you never saw before.
"EA Sports, it's in the game!"
That's the way it should be done. You got to see all different sorts of players and it was actually cool. One of them, I think, was like Dante Hall saying it right as the ball was being kicked off during the Pro Bowl. He then caught the ball and sprinted off. That was kinda' cool and I liked those. These are just over dramatic pieces to the intro of the game. I mean, it's a nice video, but who's really going to sit there and watch this the entire way through every time they boot up the game?
