Draft Day
The Indiana Pacers had a succesful draft today . Coach Archer was said to be "delighted" with the guys they got.
Here are the Pacers results
PG - Jameer Nelson
Nelson is an all star caliber Point Guard who knows how to run an offense succesfully . Nelson`s main strenghts are his speed and passing . He can also knock down a 3 if respect isint given.
SG - Kevin Martin
While Martin is raw he has the tools to score 40points a night . He is probably the best pure shooter in the team and can light any game up with threes . Martin has one of the more unique releases in the league but this will not hinder his performance on court .
SF - Paul Pierce
Pierce is a winner .... its as simple as that . He brings a mix of just about everything topped off with outstanding leadership ability . Pierce is looking to add a second ring to his already impressive collection of awards
PF - Tim Duncan
Tim Duncan is argubly the best Power Forward in NBA history . Duncan who has 4 rings in his hall of fame carrer and is coming straight in to the captain role on the team .
C - Nene
Nene is possibly the best passing bigman in the NBA today . The Brazilian born center brings energy and passion to the team .... his in close ability coupled with a nose for a rebound makes him one of the best Centers to come out of the ABA Draft
6th Man - Al Harrington
A franchise player in his own right , Al Harrington will see alot of minutes at the 6th man spot for the Pacers . His natural basketball skils coupled with a deadly midrange game make him almost unguardble when on fire
Bench
James Posey - A Leader who has shown clutch moments throughout his carrer
Jamal Crawford - A pure shooter , can put up 50 points if he catches fire early
Rafer Alston - Completes the old Magic 1-2 at Point Guard . Should see Solid minutes
Joel Pryzbilla - A vaccum on the glass who can flat out play D
Andrei Kirilenko - "Ak47" will be used to guard some of the better offensive players
Jarret Jack - Will be lucky to see the court at all . Was picked purely off homerism
