    General Discussion Thread

Game is great, by far the best of the FN series. Started a leagacy mode and blew through the amature tournement and turned pro. Started off 4-0 (3 ko's) and now am 6-3.

I need to get used to the training,

is this a FN forum for the site or just a league forum?

also, what is the premise of the league? just tourneys or is there a ladder or ranking system?

Punch spamming is alive and effective. Its difficult to stay on the outside at times. It seems like the players get stuck together and when that happens thats when idiots just punch away with reckless abandon and me being the sim fighter I am I try to back off instead of doing it right back. Thats one of my major complaints. The fleet footed fighters are able to stay in the speed boxers face in most cases.

Now I used Jones Jr. about 4 times against dudes using Lennox online and boxed their heads off. I think Im gonna be using Roy alot against heavy weights.

I haven't figured it out yet but you should be able to do a "long shuffle" to back away by holding the stick or maybe just moving it a bit? I'm not sure but pushing off helps to create distance. I usually use a push off with a left hook. I also noticed not a lot of people protect the body. So I just wear them down and when they start swinging and missing it's time to lay the gloves to their face.
