If you already have a silver account made -Press the guide button - go over to Account Management - Change Membership - And it will give you the option to make a 1 month gold member ship for 1$ - so get it while you can now - ive already actived about 4-5 other 1 month accounts - i dont know how long it will last but it seems like it will last for tonight only!

Make sure you cancel it though because they'll charge you for a full year if you don't.
