now I user catch just about everything... is it cheese to user a deep ball when its a jump situation, even when your not doing it in the rocket catch sense, but your guy is jumping for the ball just like the db?
That's what I do against people who know the best way to stop screens and see mines coming. Once I see they're in man I look to my opposite side of the screen that inside WR runs a corner route and 95% of the time it's open.
That's why on D your own custom made plays are the best. If you want to cover the whole field the best way possible you have to manually assign defensive routes to players. Putting D-linmen in zones confuses and stops alot of my opponents.
I can't tell you how many times someone has seen a slot WR with no man on top of them. they throw the quick pass thinking it's open and have it picked off for a TD by my DE who's covering the flats. Players can read the secondary and LB's but it's impossible to guess when and where a D-linemen will cover.

Yeah I didn't get it from them though, I just did it one day when the screen was being covered. Then I realized he was wide open because my opponent was in man.
I got a zone play out of 4-6 that can shut down all screens.
