Virtual Sports Championship Series
The competition of online gaming makes owning a console worth every penny. NCAA Football 2010 will bring great competition, and it also will bring the VSCS. The VSCS stands for “Virtual Sports Championship Series” It is a 10 day tracker, where registered users play each other and report the results. At the end of 10 days, the top 16 PS3 users and the top 16 Xbox 360 users will go into a 16 man tournament to crown each platform's champion. One downfall of online gaming is that some cheaters/glitchers can ruin a good experience. We have a good community of str8/sim gamers, so that is the demographic we're aiming for. We'll have some rules set in place. If you run the same plays over and over, and don't like punting on 4th this isn't the competition for you.
To put it into simpler terms....you sign up for the VSCS...play against other people who signed up...reports the results...we'll track your games and keep updated records of the standings. It's a great way to get good games against people from the site, while being involved in a fun competition. To those who participated in the MLCS last year at MaddenList, you know how fun this is!

Other settings can be used if both players agree to them before the game starts.
Users pick their own teams, however using a higher rated team will give you less points for a win in the standings.
Once the game is completed, the WINNER should report the score in the “Official VSCS Game Results Thread”. Please keep the Game Results thread free of discussion, if you want to discuss your game or look for a game, use the “Official VSCS Scheduling/Discussion Thread”.
