That's probably impossible to implement into existing chises, so if they could, people would have to restart by the time that's ready.

I imagine that won't happen and it'll be part of the Madden 11 package.

Well there's a few things to consider.

1) The development cycle of the product. The more resources allocated to doing things for Madden 10 AFTER release takes away from the resources available during Madden 11's development phase.

2) Online Franchises will be launched the second this game dropped. I don't see how you can patch in that type of structure into existing online franchises. It's not impossible, but certainly not feasible by any stretch of the imagination.

3) They've spent Madden 10 development time giving the Commish tools to be able to replicate the items missing. That time spent would then be wasted if they were to develop those features after the fact. That's not smart.

So really, what's the point in spending resources on something that just doesn't seem like a good idea? Regardless, I don't imagine this is a simple task that could be done over a week or two. Putting in a whole financial system with all the things required behind that would probably be some extensive work.

They have a good building block from what we've seen so far in this mode. Next year they will add on to it. It's how these things work.
