Why a fantasy draft?
-All teams begin (more or less) equal.
-If you draft you own team, who needs free agency?
-Complete depart from the NFL structure.We can stack a division, conference, evenly distribute teams. We can play only human opponents by schedule manipulation. When we aren't tied to the NFL structure, we can just worry about making it fun.
Just a note:
This league is for fun. The league members will decide the rules, but above all this is for fun. If you need to prove your madden dominance by using exploits and playing 3 games a week you're going to want to look somewhere else.
I'm also not going to just let anybody in the league. Either I need to know you, or others better vouch for you. I'd rather have a league with 8 dedicated members and 24 computer teams then a constant scramble to fill schedules and track down missing members. That just turns into more work than the league is worth.
