For those who care...Panthers stadium still not correct.

While browsing OS for Madden information, I found out that Panthers Bank of America Stadium has mistakes. I was thinking of having a Panthers chise but just knowing the stadium doesn't look right may sway me to take over another team. Not having the logos on the field and two screens instead of one would show up the most during gameplay and replays (I would assume). Anyone know of any glaring mistakes to their teams stadiums?

edit: Before posting how it's not a big deal....I'm not saying that the mistakes are HUGE! I'm still buying Madden...ha. Like Krul posted, you won't even see most of them; however, supposedly this stadium has been the same in the game since 2005 (can't verify that). I know if Soldier Field had mistakes for the same 4 years....I would be a little pissed because one would think this could easily be fixed (take pictures of real stadium....make it into polygons in the game).

update: Ian has posted that they know of the mistakes and are trying to change them in this years version.

It's not the biggest deal in the world obviously but it would bother me if I was running with Carolina in a franchise and I knew the stadium was wrong. I'm OCD about that kind of shit.

I didn't say that Madden is no longer worth buying....lol. However, Madden 10 has been striving that whatever you see on Sunday is what you see in the game. I would think this would start with the stadium. Don't read too much into my thread....Madden10 still looks great. Still....any other mistakes in other stadiums?

as long as the game play issues are fixed i could care less about stadium's being 100% correct.

Yeah, in almost every chise I read I stop and notice how the stadium looks in comparison to the real thing. I would undoubtedly stop following your chise if I did not notice a logo on the 25 yard line. Good idea to switch it up.

Okay I know you seen that Big Ass Pepsi Logo on the Gate A side of the stadium and it isn't in madden. lol When I was working at Ford Field I always did a replay so I could see if they included certain things and that varied....

As far as chising wait until the completely finished product.

Lucas Oil was nowhere near what it looks like in real life in 09, but I still played the game.

Welcome to the club. I could understand if it was a HUGE mistake, but those are pretty minor that you really won't notice when playing the game (besides the field logos and maybe the jumbotron).

Annnnd I highly doubt EA will patch something like that. And if they do, it'll be called Madden NFL 11...MAYBE. ;)

I could definitely see where hes coming from. I've went to Kinnick at least twice a year over the past 4 years and its fun to check out the stadium in NCAA and look for all the little stuff.

If you think about it though, this sort of shit should be the easiest part of making the game since all you have to do is copy the real life stadium.

lol the stadium in the madden picture looks pretty much identical to the real life photo of the stadium.

the "mistakes" are so minuscule that it's ridiculous. "the tunnel is too long," "the skyline isn't as big as it should be," "they forgot the led banner between the upper and lower decks"...please.

only thing i could see worth fixing is the big screen, other than that, the rest is nothing to complain about.

seriously, looking at the real life stadium pic makes me actually appreciate the job EA has done, they did a great job despite missing a few small things.

I can see what you are saying, but let me throw this out there.

First time I ever played MLB the show, was this past March..or whenever the fuck it came out.

First time I saw my home team park, and many tiny details were spot on, it was fuckin cool to see.

You go to a ball park in real life enough times and you begin to notice the small things about it, so when you see replications of it the differences will be more glaring.

The small details add to the game for sure, but in the grand scheme of things it's not a big deal.

Yeah it's cool to see the stadium detail be spot on and perfect but the chances of that happening for every single stadium in the NFL is slim to none. If they miss a logo or an LED banner who gives a shit, doesn't even warrant a thread, IMO.

It just comes down to how picky you are. I have noticed that I am far less picky than most of the guys around here. I just want a game that plays well, little details like LED banners or 10 feet of the skyline being left out don't matter to me at all.
