Non Launch PS3's to get PS2 game emulation?

    Yeah, but doesn't it use emulation like the 360? And not all games are compatible, unlike the 60GB version.

      I have one of the PS3 launch systems and go back sometimes and play the early SOCOM products.

      Really don't see Sony opting for this........I've never seen a "lot" of publicly authored complaints from gamers b/c Sony dropped the backwards compatibility on later systems. It's all about the $$$$$$$$$$.

      I recently re-hooked up my PS2 for the SOCOM "fix" so I didn't have to "stress" the PS3, lol.
