New PS3 Bundle at Best Buy

Normally, hardware bundles are a spotty affair. A game you don't really want, or two games, one you kinda want, one you just do not want. But this bundle, on sale at Best Buy next Sunday, looks great!

Sent in by a Best Buy employee, and confirmed by other BB employees, it's an 80GB PS3 bundled with copies of two of the biggest games on the system: Metal Gear Solid 4 and Killzone 2. All that for the asking price of a standard PS3, $400.

        LOL.

Damn, this PS3 bundle is sick. My buddy said he is finally thinking about going current gen. I think now is the time. But I also heard that the slim PS3 is coming out in August.

paid $500 and got a 40 gig ps3. MLB the show 08 and HDMI cable

this is an 80 gig and 2 of the best exclusives on the system....MG is a year old but still sells for $50 used. This is a great buy for anyone looking at a ps3 purchase

The PS3 is worth it just for the Blu-Ray player.

Frankly, I use my PS3 for movies way more than I use it for games.

It has an excellent DVD upscaler and Blu-Ray. Right now, I am watching seasons 1 and 2 of Lost on Blu-Ray (already on season 2 ... I so need a life). PS3 is an ass-kicking movie player and you get the benefit of some solid games too.

Other than Madden and a few exclusives, my PS3 is used far more as a Blu-Ray player as well.

Its really not worth it for blu ray only these days though.

I've seen some blu ray players getting down to around $150 around here.

PS3 is the only self updating blu ray player on the market. Lets not even get into my prediction that the PS3 will take majority in the next couple of years. We are already seeing it happen in the hardcore gamer district now with Madden.

It can support the 100 GB blu rays that Hitachi is planning on releasing...

You can upgrade the firmware on most of the samsungs quite easily with a flash drive I thought.

Yeah, but they are mostly crap. The PS3 player is excellent.
