The updated playbooks, signature throwing styles, and getting rid of all the unrealistic annimations is what I'm most excited about.

Haven't really been up on the Madden features so far, but looking at NCAA. But could someone explain to me what pro-tak is, or provide a link where I could read up about it?

I'm going to go with Pro Tak and the new stretched out ratings. One of the things that had turned me off to Madden in recent years is that it seemed like every player was good. There was not enough seperation.

The supposed gameplay improvements, as well as seeing them in video form have turned me from "not even looking at it" (because I haven't purchased or played Madden in years) to a definite rental which, if it plays well will be a definite buy.

Offline Franchise also looks like its made some serious strides...I'll be interestedin checking it out.
