Regardless o what they do with the game speed is always > than height just because your limited in what you can use to implement height, and there are so many ways to use speed. Height is pretty much jump ball and thats it, speed can streach the fi'd , go deep, turn a short play into a big gain, I think height will be much better represented and utilized in this years game, but speed at skill positions is always paramount.

Some seem to be under the unfortunate impression that speed is still the be all-end all of this version.
It can be. There's a slider that will allow you to emphasize or deemphasize (like, completely) the speed rating. You can make it the entire game, or you can make it totally meaningless.
I think having that slider on 50 is perfect. Guys with a ton of speed will make a difference, but it's not enough to make up for defficiencies elsewhere.S.P.Q.A.

I saw a blog yesterday that two Devs were playing a game they said that one guy had the Bucs and broke an 50 yarder up the gut with 85 speed Earnest Graham. I guess they were trying to show that you could break big runs with slow players, but that makes me think speed is even more overpowered. I guess we'll see.Comment

Probably speed, for the fact of a well timed "swat" seems to always prevail on passes... Thus a mid to short route well... can't really get position to swat those... get the ball in a 97 speed WRs hands watch him gun it by 70's and low 80's...
