So I guess EA can just update rosters (correctly or incorrectly, does it matter?) every year and brand it NCAA 2010 or NCAA 2011 and if I have a problem with it - I better stop playing video games.

Every bitch and moan is a legit issue, sometimes that is interperted as bitching and moaning to some - however it's a form of constructive criticism, which I believe was granted by Ian Cummings the moment he decided to make a community football game (same color shoes debacle is an example).

So, there are LEGIT issues - and everyone has a right to "bitch and moan" as you put it. If you want to keep your blinders on, then do so, I don't have a problem with that - just don't expect others who want the series to be improved (who actually care about the game) to just give up.

Ea has a shitload of consumers. I highly doubt 1 less purchase would hurt their market. There are casual fans who will buy the game regardless and I wouldnt be surprised if there are more of them than the hardcore gamers. Im going to buy it because it football, and i have the money to do so.
