Ok...... So ill try to clear anything up. Ive had it since Friday afternoon.
I like the game yes. I also liked last years as well. There are flaws in this game as well. I also know for a fact, and many old schoolers know as well. That even the mighty NCAA 2004,2005, and 2006 had flaws.
The option is pitches are still broke, some dont like the running. And, i havent seen that many missed passes due to pure inaccuracy, a couple here or there, but not much.Yes it does play fast. Ive only played against humans so far so my experiences might be different from those playing the CPU.
For me, the game is fun, for me at least. I have done nothing but play online, and the game is a blast. The gameplanning is not over done. Did EA maybe over power these, yes, but hey also added a counter mechanism. Which is you. If you game plan correctly, you can negate anything that is being done to you. Just use your damn brain. Online, I played a game last night and the final score was 10-0 me. Defense is here and it works. The flats are a bit better, but still sometimes might be difficult. Pass rush is a blast as well too. There have been alot of passes batted down at the line, and a couple ducks that have been easy pickens.
Also, there are alot of drops when WRs get popped. If a receiver goes high up in the air for a jump ball, ive seen 85% of the balls dropped from from being hit. I like that, it stops any hope of continuously tossing bullet jump balls.
I have not seen any sub glitces, or high snaps turning out incomplete. The strategy aspect is fun and that not broken either.
Presentaion is pretty much the same and that sucks, now when a game starts, you see the field with the band on it, a quick little thing about an impact player and thats it. Not much new commentary, but i play with music in background any way i dot care much. EA fell way short in this area. Also, one of my biggest gripes, is the lack of anything related to online play history wise. In NCAA 04-06, there was a card that you pulled up that showed your stats and last 10 played. NCAA next gen stll sucks balls in this dept, and i dont like that.
And RTG, not much on the way to your school, and a different main hub screen when you get there. Erin Andrews, does a mini weekly update, with some help from Kirk H. You can also choose at the very beginning if you want this option on or not. You will need a hard drive though if you want the CPU to auto save your highlights for you.
All in all its fun for me, I like it, I know though many of you wont. Im all out of words for now, if you got questions ill do my best to answer em.
