Well, the guy I talked to at the 5th blockbuster I called seemed to be pretty knowledgable and said that the game is out of print. Online ordering only, so I guess I'll just wait until GT5 for my racing fix.

When that releases you fuckers are toast.

I noticed that price a few months ago. Ridiculous. Maybe I should just get it because of it's rarity?

The next time I go to Wal-Mart I can try to score you a copy Beer and you can just cover the game and shipping cost?

There's a new F1 game due out next year, made by Codemasters, which is going to be built on the new DiRT 2 engine.

And that game is old, the Renault on the front is from 2005/6...

It was a PS3 launch game, but that doesn't keep it from being a great one.

And most North Americans no nothing about F1, so the outdated rosters/teams are no big deal.

Hell, I could play FIFA 2003 and not know the rosters were wrong.

Yea I was just in both Target and Walmart and saw several copies at both locations.

I had a look at their forum for the game a few weeks back, and they were taking it seriously. They were talking about taking into account the differences between driving on the optimum line and offline, the change in grip when it rains, the reduction in grip you get when you run wide etc etc. They looked like they knew what they were doing.

That's a good idea of what's going into the game...

I'm truly hoping the deliver a realistic experience, but their track record isn't good on realism. GRiD was fun, but not very realistic imo. I love road racing in general, and an F1 game is the ultimate for road racing.
