PS3 Rosters...

and good luck, the rosters still kinda suck. But I will still help out when needed, or at least try to. But Justo is kind of right, I started with Air Force and just got fed up halfway through, its not as simple as just finding the guy on the team's roster and naming him

I played a few games v=before starting, im doing th SEC first if you wanna help you can do a conference later...
Im filling out all the players who actually fit their numbers and descriptions, then when im done, whoever is left i search the roster for the player that fits that and edit them, change number etc

So if your still down this way is still time consuming but effective

im going through with it anyways, just doing what i can when i can..takes me a lil over a half hour per team...big 12 is almost done then I'll prob do pac 10... some teams ended up really good like Texas I had almost no problems... the only trouble i seem to have is that most teams have multiple players with the same number, in the game you cant really do that

OOBL. OS has 3 guys passing around Roster files as their community effort. If you get a base set running and show me how your doing the "nonexistent" players and freshman, etc. I'll break out the Big Ten conference for you. Of course we're against the clock with the OS guys right now so their product might be better, they're also a day ahead.

The thing is we cant both work on it at the same time, and i dont sleep...so youd be on call for maybe a couple hours...hopefully enought o do the big 10...

No SEC isn't done only did one or two teams

What I do is fill out everybody that is clearly there, your almost always left with some guy that doesnt seem to fit, or the numbers issue. I think Kansas had a perfect O-line tho surprisingly.

When your left with the guys who you don't really know you look at height, weight, etc and you get the right name to player. Sometimes i found myself looking to see where the player was from when there are two similar guys, its actually somewhat accurate lol.

Im taking a breather right now to eat something and clean up all the empty beer cans and soda cans lying around from the all nighter. Im done with the Big 12 for now, I cant stand filling out their teams anymore theres still some left, Im goin to get started on another conference.

Id like VSN to be able to use these, some people won't wait and use the ones from OS, thats fine, I'm still doing these regardless. I think VSN should have its own rosters kinda something somebody here did.

As you can tell im bouncing around a bit, and certain sites are easier to get the names and info off then others

OnlyOneBeerLeft, what if you just go through and name all the easy ones from each team? Then all the ones that don't match, you could post the number/position on here for each team and let the rest of the community go through and deal with the headaches while you keep chugging on the easy ones. That could keep you from having to do all that research yourself and spread that work out among all of us, then we report them back to you. And as soon as you get tired (if you actually sleep) then you could pass them off to somebody else to do the inputting. I think this would give us the best shot at getting done sooner, along with hopefully being more accurate as well.

I would definitely be down to help do some of the research for the headscratchers, I'm sure Ky and a bunch of other people would help too.
