Madden Demo to Feature 1 MINUTE Quarters

honestly fellas real easy way to cheat gamestop and get the demo and not spend any money. Gamstop only requires u to put down $5 bucks to reserve a game, put down your 5 in store, get your demo. then go get your money back if ur not gunna buy it from there, or have them put it on a gift card and give it to some kid in your fam for a gift.

Last years demo was one offensive possession. Shouldnt this be considered an improvement?

                EA should say something like

"The Madden 10 Demo has two 2 min halves"

that'd prob make it sound better

Bad news for us people who are forced to get the public demo and cant pre-order from GS like me

Or people who want to pre-order from a different store

Sorta followed the little twitter conversation between Ian and Pasta concerning the demo length:

ian_cummings@pastapadre - You confuse me. Your hatred for segmented demos honestly makes no sense to me (speaking as a consumer here).

pastapadre@ian_cummings anyone who wouldn't buy the game because they were satisfied with the demo was never a potential sale in the first place.

ian_cummings@pastapadre I disagree. I've personally (as a consumer) done that numerous times on demos...deep enough experience, no need for me to buy.
ian_cummings@pastapadre We need demos to be cliffhangers- leave you wanting more. i.e. No reason to build a demo for someone to test sliders out early.

pastapadre@ian_cummings I dont know how to debate this if you really feel a couple minutes of uninterrupted play could mean passing on the full game

ian_cummings@pastapadre I think 30+ minutes can definitely make someone satisfied enough to not purchase. Side note - 09 was only offense and V. Trainer

How can he even speak as a consumer? No matter how hard he tries, he's completely biased on this subject. Or any subject pertaining to Madden for that matter.

One minute demos are a disgrace.

Think on it: Pasta just said that he tried out enough demos to discern whether a game was worthy of his dollar. That if he got enough exposure to a game he could evaluate whether or not it was worth his dollar; i.e. if he hadn't had such an extensive experience he may have bought the game outright; it was because he was able to scrutinize the game through the demo that he decided not to spend his money.

EA doesn't want us making those decisions. I hate EA's decision but it makes sense.
Absolutely right. It makes sense as a business decision, and as a business decision only.

Do you think Madden will fall flat on its face? As realistic as I try to be, I just don't see that happening. And you of all people know how I feel about Madden. I feel like theres too many people saying good things.
