When recruiting against

Am I supposed to see a +5 or so when I am downplaying them or does that mean I am adding 5 for them?

KJ20 is right. +Scores are good when you are recruiting for yourself. -Scores are good when you are recruiting against someone else.

Basically, think of it like a score. The higher the score, the better. You want to raise your score or lower theirs.
