    Set-Up Plays?

Anyone else liking this feature? I just wish the "set up" plays weren't so worthless without being set up. It really limits your playcalling when you want to call a certain PA pass, but haven't fully set that one up, so you have to call something else.

Aside from that though I think it's a cool little feature that has been needed for a while.

So do they pretty much just cause the A.I. to bite harder on a P.A., or vice versa on a draw? I guess I haven't really noticed to much of a difference.

Yeah once a play gets to 100% it will be outlined in green and it will say Set Up! I've only seen it really work for play actions, but when I have done it I just kept some blockers in and sent two guys on routes and they were pretty wide open across the middle.

The 'backers bit really hard at full, but I haven't played with it enough to see if it's an all or nothing type of deal. Maybe at like 56 % or so you'll still catch a few of the defenders off guard, but as the percentage goes up it becomes more of a sure thing.

Or, it could be that the plays are completely worthless unless they are fully set up.

I just saw this...I called an option to the left...then it said "setup" a WR option...got some nice yardage...i went for PA...but it wasn't 100%...it did work though...it's a nice feature.

i like the concept of the setup play, just not sure about the current execution.

i ran a setup (pa bootleg pass) play up 24-7 and got docked -100 sportsmanship for "running it up"

I've never had any set up plays besides a HB off tackle run, think that's what it's called.

              pretty much my situation

I get Setup PA passes to work like a champ, but the Setup run plays never gain over 3 yards

Yeah I like it. But sometimes it limits your play callling if you really want to set them up because you are limited to the two chainlinked plays for the majority of setup strategy points. Plus they need to be successful for decent gains and first downs to get strategy showdown points.

                  I believe it's a one time deal.

Like say you run up the middle 4 or 5 straight times then go play action. Wouldn't it just be that one play action? Obviously if you pass for the next 3 quarters the PA won't still be "setup"

I don't know for sure though.

Sometimes it will be available again after the first one. I don't know if it's because I scrambled instead of threw it, or what happened, but sometimes the play will be setup for more than one play.
