Possibly starting a small 360 OD

Looking for at least one (maximum of 3) people to play a small online dynasty. I probably wont even bother with a subforum for it, and we will most likely use AIM to communicate. I would prefer to have people in different conferences, so we can move very fast.

There wont be many user games, this is pretty much to promote a very fast pace. I dont have many rules in mind yet, but if I get a person or two interested we can get the ball rolling quickly.

Since there are so many new people around these days, Im going to point out that I prefer VSN or MM vets. No offense new guys, but I dont feel like going through the trouble to replace someone because they are inactive. Id rather give the spot to someone that I have more confidence in.

Ok, looks like thats it. The dynasty will be started on AA or Heisman, 6 min quarters. I need you guys to post your Aim name, and Team preference. Keep in mind that if you take a team that someone else is already in, you will have a limited amount of time to get your user game in. I will not allow people to hold up the progress of the dynasty waiting for a user game to be played.

I also need you to post if you would prefer heisman or AA. AA with sliders may end up being our best choice after the patch is released, but until then we have to decide on what to use.

I will pick my team last, as I have no real preference. My AIM is HNIC Virix

Davon (whom I talked to on aim) is most likely going to take Michigan. When the invites are sent I have to specify which team you are going to take control of. I need a definitive answer on which team, not "This team or that team" otherwise I dont know which to send you. Invites will go out tonight or tomorrow at the latest.

No, the patch will work with dynasties in progress. At worst I will have to take it offline, then reinvite everyone. We can start as soon as I get the info I need from everyone.

I dont care if you are in the same conference. Its your responsibility to get your game with Davon in a timely fashion (if he sticks with michigan, hes at work right now so I cant ask) otherwise your game will get simmed and you risk getting a loss in the last game of the year.

virix, i would love to play as Ohio State. But i am totally lost when it comes to these online dynasty's

so i have a few questions.

would i being playing as my team (OSU) vs you on your schedule, meaning i just play u in 1 game and thats all i play?

or do i have a full schedule of games along with you, davon and whoever else u have join?

if im playing a full schedule, are all games played user vs user, or do i just play the other users that are in the dynsaty and the rest vs the cpu.....

i am hoping you play on AA with 6 min and modified sliders...and also with guys we know....but i am down for whatever

Maynard, I pretty much had all the people (actually 1 more) than I wanted so I wasnt lookin to add more players. But since you are an old time MMer, Ill let you in, lol You will get in as OSU and the only other user in the big 10 is Davon. You play a normal schedule like in an offline dynasty, but you will play Davon when you get to the Michigan game. All of your other games will be vs. the CPU and, you wont play any other users unless you:
a. pick someone as an out of conference game after season 1, or
b. get them in a bowl game

Invites will probably go out later tonight.

This should be great cause i can blow thru my schedule at will....i wonder if we can use lans named roster for this.

one last question....i umderstand how playing users works.....but was just curious if the game allows the option to play a random user as the cpu team...so for instance when i play northwestern and someone not in the league wants to play as them, does this allow you to do it or no? I assume no, but was just curious.

Nah you cant have someone stand in for the CPU. Also, you only have access to play one week at a time. When everyone is done, the commish advances to the next week, so you really cant blow through it at will. Once we get going, im gonna try to get us to the point that we get at least one game done a day. That way a whole season + bowls + offseason could be done in a little over two weeks

We will be using Lan's rosters for sure.
