In NCAA 10, every QB throws the equivalent of around 70 MPH. That blows Favre away by a good 10 MPH.S.P.Q.A.

One thing is driving me fucking nuts. After every play, or if I pick a wrong formation and back up it always goes back to the "combo" formation with the Steelers. No matter what. Why doesn't it just go back to the formation I was in?So, metaphorically speaking, our physiology basically has the universe mapped out and you're thinking it needs to be taught addition & subtraction.

I dunno, but that feels like one of the things that would be caught b4 the game was finished. I'd be suprised if it was like that in the final versionComment

Yeah I kind of figured that. Just wondering if it's happening to everybody. It's annoying as hell though. So, metaphorically speaking, our physiology basically has the universe mapped out and you're thinking it needs to be taught addition & subtraction.

Played the 1m demo a bit and played the 5m demo yesterday...I like it a lot. Still has obvious flaws, but this is a step in the right direction.
Presentation was very solid. Gameplay was a step in the right direction, for sure. Definitely something we should have been given on the first go around with next gen systems. So, we're a bit behind the curve, I think, but, at least its a positive instead of it running of a treadmill.Comment

Why 3 plays per screen instead of four and why remove the numbered tabs??Comment

My point about the deep ball is that it seems to hang forever. I haven't played the demo enough to know if it's user error on my part but lobbing it deep seems to initiate a terribly slow rainbow that takes forever to get there. That's the only part of the pass speed that has bugged me this far.
Anyway, I got a 5 minute demo code and will be able to play around with it more tonight. So, metaphorically speaking, our physiology basically has the universe mapped out and you're thinking it needs to be taught addition & subtraction.

all-pro seemed easy as fuck for me to score on the cpu. however my defense was atrocious and htey scored on every trip down too. rofl. 4 years away from madden will do that I guessComment

I was skeptical of the speed difference,
I scored a 70 something yard TD with Anquan Boldin out of the wildcat and I didn't have a problem outrunning anyone, which was surprising.
I guess Boldin and his 89 speed doesn't mean he's slow anymore.Comment

I'm really liking the demo. This might be the first good Madden in years.
Correct me if I'm wrong but didn't EA scoop up some of the 2K guys a few years ago? If so it really shows in the presentation. The camera views of the fans in the stands and the pre-game views of the concession stands remind me so much of 2K5.
My one complaint right now, and it is really minor, is wtf did they switch the circle and triangle (B and Y on 360) buttons on the play call screens? Man that shit pisses me off. I've been pressing triangle to back out of menus for as long as I can remember. They did the same thing in NCAA. I also can't tell you how many times I've chosen the triangle play call thinking I'm backing out of the screen,Comment
