    Do sliders do anything?

Do they? I've played a fewgame tonight with my slider for timing, contact, power, and solid hits all the way up and i feel they did absolutly nothing expect for timing.

I multiple occasions with batters like Jim Thome, Chipper Jones, Jermaine Dye, ect. i will guess fastball, ill get a pith down the middle, get perfect timing, wheel house on contact, and get a weak weak fly ball or wimpy grounder alot. My little yellow circle is on the money every time too.

I know im not a great hitter in this game, but this is rediculous.

That is true, but when i am using the likes of Chipper, Thome, and others good hitters like them, i expect them to get a good piece of the ball if they know where its coming and its right down the heart of the plate. I can understand getting out if it a solid hit, but ive been hitting constant weak hits and it is really getting frustrating.
