He spread them out 5 wide nearly every play. I'm pretty sure he ran about 2 or 3 plays the entire game that were not out of the shotgun. He also ran goal line defense about 3/4 of his defensive snaps. He came back to take the lead just because of 3 or 4 fumbles that were caused by the "strip ball" modifier. So I scored as many points at the end as I could. If he got his feelings hurt then boo hoo. Frankly I feel bad for anyone that has to play him because that game was painful to play. Waste of my time since I prolly would've won the sim anyways.

But if you want to boot me for that go ahead. Just all the more reason for me to trade this game in so I can get Madden when it comes out.

As far as running shotgun there's ALOT of college teams that never or rarely come out under center. But goalline D all over the field isn't anything like sim.

Definitely goal line. And he was Minnesota, so the college teams not coming out of it is not a valid excuse. I watch Big Ten football every year and no team in the Big Ten runs spread very often at all, especially a team like Minnesota. His gameplay pissed me off, and when I get pissed off I try to run up the score, end of story.

Yeah running in this game is too easy vs CPU, my 83 rated RB is 2nd in the nation in rushing yards and ypc

i did not run 5 wide every play, probably under 10 times. i was using florida's playbook for the first time, and it only had shotgun. i did not run goal line 3/4 of my defensive plays. ill admit that i did use it i think all but one or two plays on two straight drives for him because i needed something to slow down his offense, causing two straight punts. however then i felt bad cause i dont like cheesing so i stopped it and only used it 1-3 times a drive when i thought i really needed it. also i was bringing a crazy blitz either, most of the goal line plays i only had 4 or 5 guys blitzing and everyone else in coverage. however i will admit that the fumbles got a little out of hand, i had no idea that was gonna happen. i wouldnt have cared if he scored a lot of points at the end because i pretty much stopped trying when i realized i had no chance of coming back. but the fact that he called timeouts on his last drive to try to score was what derived the d-bag comment. if you are gonna try to run up the score because you are pissed at me thats one thing, dont use timeouts to do it though. i know im not could, i was trying to do what i could to win, and having minnesota doesnt help. it also doesnt help that i seem to meltdown in the second half. i led both saluki and ratty at some point in the game, i was actually up 21-7 on saluki and then i just lost it.

if you wanna boot me whatever. but i just wanna say that ill be going on vacation for a week and then to a camp for the next week. i may have my xbox the first week but im not sure if there will be internet connection there. if you find this a problem, i will gladly bow out, i dont want this to hinder the greatness this OD has had so far with my inactivity. so if you wanna replace me thats fine with me, its been a good run. i hope for the best with this in the future and i just thought that id explain the way i played from my perspective.
