A high school quarterback in NCAA 10...

...can throw a football 120 miles per hour.

I just did the math on an out route in which the QB in my campus legend threw a 40 yard pass across the field in less than a second. After a few right triangles and careful mathematical analysis, I discovered that the throw was close to 120 miles per hour (actually, it's slightly less, because it's literally 1 mile per 31.5 seconds... so it's somewhere around 108 miles per hour.. but still!)

I'll upload the video shortly because I have it saved.. but my question is, how does this stuff get through testing?! I've had this game for seriously less than two hours (thank god I didn't buy it) and half the stuff I've noticed is just absurd. Sometimes things don't work right, I get it... but throw me a bone here NCAA, this is pathetic.

I've noticed it too. I can control it a bit by simply tapping the button, but damn...bullet passes are fuggin INSANE in this game.

I can throw the ball 120 MPH while I'm sleeping.

There was one in Madden too...I think it went something like the cornerbacks weren't getting enough interceptions, so instead of fixing the fucking problem, they just awarded two INTs for every one pick to make the stats look better.

LOL. It looked like the game suddenly hit "fast forward" to get the ball there.

I wonder if this is how they fixed the "pick 6" issues of NCAA 08. The quick out keeps gettin intercepted you say? Let's see that corner break on a freakin laser beam.

I guess so, cause I was playing CB (this was a RTG game), and I baited the QB a bit so I could jump it (you can see me at the end of the play cutting in front of the receiver), but I had NO IDEA that was about to happen. You'd think that would be the first thing they'd make sure was right; player speed, ball speed, etc.

its much better than every out route being a pick 6 IMO, i know 08 was like that i think 09 was too. I cant remember the last time you could actually throw comeback routes, maybe madden 07. I dont know if they've ever been a logical route in NCAA because of the psychic CBs
