    Rock Band Network

Anyone else here about this shit? I've been hearing about it a ton lately on several podcasts.

In Rock Band Rivals, form your own band, rock the world, and live out your ultimate rock and roll fantasy, with your friends, family, or as a solo act.

Basically Rock Band is opening up it's game to undiscovered bands and artists. It's 360 exclusive now because it works with XNA. You pay the $100 XNA fee and you get all of the tools to be able to incorporate your bands songs, as long as they are original, into the game. Then you can sell them for $1-3 with MS getting a significant cut of course.

It seems like an awesome idea for bands out there trying to get discovered.

Heard about it but I'm worried this will just increase the amount of stupid songs they will get.

Hopefully bigger bands jump onto this.

      Leafs offseason training!

I heard that the songs were MS timed-exclusive for 30 days, but I could be wrong.

Regardless, this should be awesome for smaller bands to get their music out there.

Yeah, the OXM podcast seemed to hint that it was a timed exclusive for the 360.
