Endzone celebrations?

It's been a few years since I played NCAA but it always seemed like there were certain button presses that performed certain celebrations after a TD. I already know you can celebrate with the mascots.

Are they in this year and if so can anyone provide me with a list?

There aren't any specific button celebrations except school specific ones and for those you press the Y button

Some teams have specific celebrations (Miami's U, Florida's Chomp, Texas' Hook Em Hirns, etc.), if you use a team like that press trangle in the endzone. Generic celebrations are circle. Nothing special really.

The real question is shouldn't you get a penalty for such things?

I don't know, I thought they did a good job with the celebrations this year. But I haven't played a NCAA game in about three years.

I miss the days when you could press the specific buttons and risk getting the penalty. I believe 05 or 06 had that, where you could do mild celebrations or over-the-top ones with the risk of getting the unsportsman-like.

Yeah, I have no reason why the took that out, as it was a cool little part of the game. If you were down late in the game and came back with a huge drive to take the lead, or you just wanted to rub it into a team that maybe stole a recruit from you, it was a nice little bonus. Why take it out?

thing I remember however was for some reason I could never get it to work after scoring a touchdown

but I always accidentally did it after kicking a PAT.

it was always funny watching the kicker go nuts
