EA is "screwing us". You don't HAVE to buy anything. They don't force you to BUY their video games. It's your choice to buy their games or not. Business wise they are smart for snatching up that exclusive license. If you feel as if a company is screwing you, just don't buy their shit. And don't get on other people for buying it because they don't have as much sand in their vagina's as you do.

APF 2K8 best represents the sport of football.

That's where you are wrong. NFL 2k5 was actually superior to APF 2k8. APF didn't have franchise, gameplay was actually better, plus NFL teams. The only thing APF had over 2k5 was graphics. And even those weren't much better.

Madden seduces the shallow gamers with Flash, Logos and curren players of the NFL...the actuall gameplay takes a back seat with the sheep.

Wrong again. EA does pay the HOF, so that the HOFers can be in Madden, but if you didn't realize, the HOFers were in APF and Madden AT THE SAME TIME! EA's deal isn't exclusive, they have permission to use the HOFers, but it doesn't stop 2k from using them.

A few things. NFL Gameday was "top dog" 1....count it ONE year in the PS1 days. Once it made the transition to PS2 it blew.

What Kiddo man said was true, Madden is an established title and at that point was in its 15th year on the Market. 2k series was at its what 5th or 6th, with the 1st years being a dreamcast Exclusive.

Madden sales based on its name, not the quality of the product it puts out. (before this year, except run blocking is a Piece of shit)

For the record, I thought the 2K football games sucked (APF and 2K5) in every aspect except for presentation. The animations (specifically running) and gimmicky "charge-ups" were laughable at best. I don't even want to mention the atrocity that was their playbooks. I regret buying those games and even while getting them at a reduced price, I paid too much.

I've always been one to support the better product, and to me, Madden has always been the better product...exclusivity or not.
