The football season is upon us (24 hours away!) and what better way to get back into the swing of things than to kick off the Madden sim guide once again. Before we get started with the guide, I want to make sure everyone still remembers the number one rule of Madden sim gaming before we dive into everything:
Just be yourself.
I'm not here to tell you that my way is perfect, and that you should do exactly as I say.
That's not what I'm about, and that's not what football is about.
The point of this thread is to either guide you with an obstacle you might be facing, or to throw a different perspective at you to give you different ideas about expanding your own offense.
The point of this thread is NOT to tell you a routine to follow that will guarantee you results.
I want to make sure that everyone takes what they want out of this thread, and doesn't right it down and follow it word for word. The ultimate goal is to create better minded Madden players, not machines. I'd much rather people come back and tell me that something I said helped them improve THEIR OWN game, instead of telling me I re-defined their game. Because let's face it, following a routine is a cheap way of finding results.
With that said, you'll see a much different style of advice from me, unlike any other website you come across. I'll give you ideas you never thought of, strategies you never heard of, and gameplans you never saw before. Things that belong in a football game.
I'll be posting the first tip shortly, but in the mean time, feel free to post any questions/problems that you may have and I'll get to those next. Only one week until Madden!
