Defensive Player Control - Related to Adem's "Game Killer" post

Maybe I am late to the party, but, I just read Adem's "Game Killer" post and I have to say, I thought it was just me who sucked on defense this year, but, now I realize I'm not alone. Usually defense is a strong-point of my game and I used to control the SS until last year when I began to conrtol the CB. This year, I am finding that I can continue to play lights out at the corner position, but, the rest of my defense seems to have their head in the clouds.

Due to this, the game has forced me to leave my user-controlled corner and start playing the SLB position. However, it took several games just to find the right position to play to help offset the lack of AWARENESS the rest of my cyber teammates have. I am just curious, if any other VSNers have had to change the way they play defense due to the poor defensive AI for user-controlled teams. If you have, what position do you know play and what position did you use to control?

As I said before, after reading through Adem's thread and looking at the photos, it is no coincidence that after a dozen games of testing, I also determined that the best way to counter the poor defensive AI was to control a linebacker and the SLB specifically.

sliders make all the difference my friend. Dont know what your using for sliders, but you will want to look at raising pass coverage to about 70 for both user and cpu.

i still play defense the same way i always have. I control the FS and sometimes the DE

i was fs in 09, getting like 12 tackles a game and maybe a pick. this year, i control the LOLB
