    How to Use This Playbook:

With this playbook you are going to have to mix it up a lot. You will need speedy receivers, and capable tight ends. This offense is all about hitting your short routes, you will need to have the ability to wait for your options to develop. If you aren't patient, this is not the playbook you need. This book is more than likely for sim players, or guys who want a realistic offense. There are a lot of screen passes, and swing routes in this book, if you go under center, the f wing formations are good for teams with good receiving full backs, or you can package in a tight end to take that spot, and utilize him that way.

    Good Plays:

    Formation: Singleback Ace
    Play: WR Quick
How to use it : This is a play where your WR goes into motion, and takes the handoff from the QB. You will need to look for a hole to develop, and then take it right away, or if you don't see anything, just try to salvage what you can, and cut to the outside. This play is usually a big gain, or a loss of yards. I would only throw this in as a change of pace maybe 2-4 times a game, anything more than that will just become repetitive, and your opponent will stop it easily.

    Formation: Gun Doubles WK
    Play: HB Slip Screen
How to use it : I use this play to keep the defense guessing. Just like any other screen, this is high risk/high reward. You are going to want a speedy RB, and you will need to wait for the blocks to develop for you. If you can throw this one in 5 times a game, you will have pretty good success.

    Formation: Gun Y-Trips WK
    Play: Curl Flat Corner
How to use it : This play can be run pretty much as many times as you like. Your first read is the quick flat that your inside receiver will be running. Then you watch the corner, if the corner isn't open, chances are that the curl right under it is. This is all about progressions, and reading the defense.

I love the New England playbook... a ton of great underneath stuff. Spreads the field horizontally and uses a lot of motion and a lot of underneath crossing patterns, supplemented with some real creative downfield stuff. It's really an interesting playbook to use.

From what I've heard, yes, it is the best PB in the game, but I prefer to run a balanced offense, so I don't know if it will be good for guys who like to mix it up. Impressions may be up tomorrow, I want to take the time to know the playbook before I give you guys my opinion on it.

If you like that style of offense, yes. It's definitely the most unique and varied. I love the stuff designed for Welker. The passing game is so varied and so dynamic it's hard to force yourself to run the ball... but then, even the running plays are more interesting than most playbooks.

i didn't like NE's PB as much as I thought I would, WAY too many WR screens, but I really didn't put much into looking into it. So far I like Arizona's playbook the most, but i've only tried a few

NE and RnG are always in the top 3 of Madden playbooks. Good write up MRN.

Yeah, that would be great man. Just try to follow the format that I layed out in the Bears post.

I have decided to finish out the NFC North before moving on to any other playbooks. But when I do get to NE and the most anticipated PB's, I will put in a lot of work on them.

                            How to Use This Playbook:

This isn't a great playbook by any means, but it is usable. You will need the skills to manage the game wisely while using this book. You will probably want to run just as much as you pass. The split slot formation is one of my favorite sets. If you have two runningbacks that you really like, this set is perfect for you. The shotgun formations are pretty decent, they have a few good ones, but the rest are nothing special. I went online with this playbook and was left guessing when I needed a big play. There are only a few in the book, and once I had used them up, I was all out of answers. You will need to be able to run a dink and dunk offense, and try to hold off on making lots of big plays.

                            Good Plays:

                            Formation: Gun Bunch TE
                            Play: Mesh
How to use it : This play is very similar to the curl flat corner play. You make the same reads, you will look at the flat route first, then the corner, and then the curl. But on the other side, you have a runningback on a swing route, and a tight end running a slant n' sit. So this play is full of options for you.

                            Formation: Gun Bunch TE
                            Play: PA Boot Over
How to use it : The way I run this play, it is made to make the safety decide on what he wants to do, if the opponent is in zone, this will kill it. Hot route the outside left receiver to a fade route. Hot route the very inside receiver to a streak. Block your running back. Roll out to the right side, look for the safety on the left side of the field to decide which receiver he wants to stick with, if he goes with the post, throw it to either the streak or the fade. If he goes with either the streak or the fade, choose the other. If it is man, you will have the delayed tight end route, or the fade working for you. This is one of my favorite plays, and has been for a couple years.

                            Formation: Split Slot
                            Play: Slot Z Out
How to use it : The two main routes that you want to watch on this play, are the runningback on the angle route, and the slot receiver running the whip. These are two very effective routes, and if you throw this play in every once in a while, you will keep the opposition guessing.
