Freezing exiting the XBL Menus?

Whenever I try and go out of the XBL menus after DLing the roster update or playing a game the game freezes on the main screen, I can still hear mussic playing just cant do anything

Any help?

I been using ps3 and this happened to me twice. I pressed the middle Playstation button on the remote, clicked on the disc icon for Madden 10 and it brings me back to the screen that was frozen and it starts to work fine. I don't know about 360 though

thats what I do, I just click the Xbox button and restart the game but it pisses me off regardless
