A guy at OS had a good point about this - I think it's more realistic to play this way, because other than a no-huddle team how many quarterbacks have 30 seconds to audible and read the D from the line?

They usually only have 8 to 10 seconds to make those reads.

While I know no one in the online community here will play with the accelerated clock, I think it makes perfect sense.

Of course, you need at least 9 minute quarters with it to make a decent length game.
