Madden Horror Stories

So after I got off work today, I went to buy Madden. I got to Walmart (only store close to my house) and went to the electronics department. Right away I saw a big display for Madden, with ZERO copies left for 360, luckily the employee said they had a few left in the back. So she got me one, and I payed for it and started walking away. As I walked away I looked in the bag and saw MICHAEL FUCKING CRABTREE! The employee had given me fucking NCAA. So I had to return it and go to a different store to get the game.

Luckily I'm playing Madden now. Any similar stories?

i picked up my copy today from gamestop and they gave me a coupon for free chips and guacamole from chipotle.....i said, hey can i get 10 more of these and the guy was like wtf.....i said, im just kidding but i love their guac....he then gave me 2 more coupons.....so i walked right next door and picked up some chips and guac before going home....

I played online and discovered that it was on normal game-speed. I am still pissed about it.

i went to gamestop yesterday, only to find this little tiny women with hundreds of tatoos, a short and fat kid, and his dad (who was at least 300 pounds) walking out with the last fuckin copy of madden.

I was expecting to get home from work today and get both the PS3 and 360 versions of Madden in my mailbox from Gamefly. Got home and the mailbox was empty. I was expecting a Netflix movie too. Talked to my neighbor and he said there was a substitute mail carrier today and nobody got any mail in my building. Thanks USPS.

thats why you are suppose to pre order the game so u wont have that problem..

i walked right in, gave the reciept, swiped the card, got that little 3$ insurance shit, and walked out and headed home..

Its your money, and you pay for it, but thats fucked up. You really need both versions? What about someone who wont even get a copy from gamefly?

And you get your games in 1 day? Oh, you're in Pittsburgh. They have a shipping center there. Nice.

Heres mine, 3 months ago i pre ordered Madden online from a Store called Smarte Products. The the price was 49.49 with a coupon i had, so i obviously bought it. The ad also said it would ship day of release.

Today i ask If they shipped it.
And they respond... We are tracking the shipment, it wont be here till 8/18, ill have it to you by Friday next.
