I forgot Alpha Protocol comes out this year, that an almost definite buy for me to hold me over until Mass Effect.

Dragon Age is a possibility but I'm not sure I'll be able to get into the gameplay

pretty sure that got pushed back to 2010. i thought JC was a pretty decent game, it was one of the first current gen games that wowed me from its graphics and if it wasnt for the super repetitive missions i think it would of been received a lot better by people.
